| Where Does a Green and Yellow Tractor Park »
Probably because, well, they're not actually tractors...
This is the yard at our Davenport Works facility, one of the main factories building Construction and Forestry Equipment.
Lots and lots of construction equipment.
Equipment is parked from the time it rolls off the line till it's shipped down the road.
The trees in front of the factory were starting to bud when I was there in April. Even more impressive- look at the flags just hanging there. It was an actual non-windy day in Iowa!
They told us later that the CEO had visited a week before, so all the landscaping was recently "freshened." It looked great, whatever the reason.
I got a kick out of the displays by the gift shop and entrance. They're metal with cut outs of the different equipment built there.
Looks pretty ferocious, huh?
